Henchman Ltd require payment in full in advance of dispatching your order. Payment by cheque (made payable to Henchman Ltd), or master card, visa, switch and maestro are accepted.
On orders taken in the post or over the phone Henchman will not take payment until the day your order is dispatched. For orders taken on line payment is taken at the time of order; we dispatch on Tuesdays and Thrusdays. Henchman aims to keep stock at all times - should stock be unavailable for a period of time and payment already taken from an online order Henchman is happy, at your request, to put payment back into your account until dispatch.
We can provide businessess with a Pro Forma invoice on request and will intend to send a sales invoice as standard to businessess. Customers will recieve confirmation of order dispatch and payment taken.
We aim to keep stock at all times and we dispatch on tuesdays and Thursdays. Standard mainland UK delivery is a 3 working day system starting the day following dispatch. (Overseas timescales and costs will vary. Please contact us for a quote).
We will post you a first class letter or email you on the day of dispatch with consignment details and courier contact details and how best to manage the process.
We suggest, if you might not be in, that you ring the courier for an estimated time of delivery. Further arrangments can be made with the courier at this point. Receiving the consignment letter from us indicates the product is due within 1 to 3 days. Please call the courier promptly. If having read our instructions and spoken with the courier you would like any further assistance please contact us.
Do the goods need to be signed for?
A signature from a responsible person is required as proof of delivery by our courier. The courier will leave a card requesting you contact them if they go to deliver and find unattended premises. Delivery can then be reattempted again. Please note neither the courier nor Henchman will cover the cost of re-attempting delivery more than twice.
Can I request the goods left unattended?
No, only with a written request from ourselves should the courier leave goods unattended. Please do not request goods left unattended. They will not be insured against theft or damgage however it was incurred. Customers requesting goods left unattended without Henchman's permission do so at their own risk.
Can goods be delivered overnight or on a Saturday?
Yes, but with an additional charge. This service requires booking prior to dispatch. Please contact us for details.
The standard delivery charge on our 3 day service for any one or two main units ordered at the same time is £30.00 to mainland UK. This does not increase if accessories are ordered with the main unit. The standard delivery charge for accessories on their own is £15.00.
For two to four main units the charge will be £60.00.
For five to six main units the charge will be £90.00
For seven to ten main units, the charge will be £110.00
For more than ten main units, the charge will be £150.00
Overnight, overseas, Saturday or multiple unit orders require a quote from the office. Please contact us.
You may collect your order in a suitable vehicle from Henchmans' office in Hampshire between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings during June to August from 9 am to 12pm.
We ask and strongly advise you to call in advance to make a collection arrangement. We cannot otherwise guarantee stock availability - in which case delivery and delivery charges will need to be opted for.
Henchman respects the need to keep your data secure in accordance with our legal Data Protection Responsibilities. We do not sell or share our database with any third parties. We are happy to remove your details in accordance with Data Protection laws if requested by you to do so. Our website, payment processor (Protx), and banker (HSBC) are all secure and are all fully qualified and recognised to take the latest measures to secure your data during transaction.

We have tried our best to make sure all necessary product information is contained within our brochure and/or our website. Nevertheless there may be a variety of questions you might want clarification on - please ask us and we'll answer as quickly as possible and usually within a couple of hours at the most.
Henchman aim to keep stock of all items at all times in order to be able to dispatch within 48 hours on a 3 working day service. Should there be a delay of more than two weeks we will inform customers of the expected dispatch date.
If you anticipate needing a product for a particular job at a particular time it would be advisable to give us as much notice as you can. Customers are asked to ring in advance of visiting our offices, particularly if they would like to collect a product because not all stock is kept at the offices' premises all the time.
All Henchman platforms are manufactured in the UK by fully qualified welders working for a company registered to the latest quality management systems - ISO 9001-2000. Henchman platforms are also designed under BS EN 131 guidance.
